I started BUENBIZ after more than two decades in banking, finance, and small business advisory because I kept seeing the same problem: good businesses were being declined for financing, not always because they were weak businesses, but because they were not prepared. Many business owners had real potential, strong ideas, loyal customers, and a clear desire to grow. But when it came time to meet with lenders, they often lacked the right financials, a clear business narrative, organized documentation, realistic projections, or an understanding of how lenders evaluate risk. In many cases, they were also speaking to the wrong lender or pursuing the wrong financing product for their specific need.

I bring more than 23 years of experience in finance, banking, lending, and business advisory, along with an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. My background includes SBA lending, lender-readiness strategy, loan packaging, financial projections, acquisition financing, growth planning, and business transition advisory. But more than anything, my work is about helping business owners make better decisions.
